Data Controller

GEOTAX FOR TAX CONSULTANT CO. L.L.C. is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data collected through this website.
Contact: [email protected]

Personal Data Collected

Through forms and consultation requests: first name, last name, email, phone number, country, profile, message and, where applicable, requested time slot. Do not send tax returns, identity documents or highly sensitive data before a matter is opened and an appropriate channel is provided.

Navigation data: IP address and technical logs generated by Cloudflare for security, together with aggregated measurement signals sent to Google Analytics 4 as described below.

Purpose of Processing

Collected data is used for:

  • Responding to your consultation and contact requests
  • Improving your user experience on the website
  • Ensuring website security and proper functioning

Legal Basis

Pre-contractual steps: consultation, quotation and appointment requests.

Consent: optional communications and requests voluntarily sent through your email application.

Legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention and aggregated audience measurement.

Data Recipients

Data are accessible to GEOTAX FOR TAX CONSULTANT CO. L.L.C. and Jonathan Sémon's team, and to providers strictly required for the service: Cloudflare (hosting, security and logs), EmailJS (transmission to the firm of requests submitted through the forms), Cal.com (booking when its widget is opened), and Google Analytics 4 (cookieless aggregated measurement in the current configuration). If online payment is activated and selected, Stripe processes payment data; GEOTAX does not receive complete card details. Formspree is not used in this release. If the sending service is unavailable, the website offers a draft that you must approve in your own email application.

No data is sold or disclosed for advertising purposes. Each provider's own terms and privacy policy also govern its processing.

Data Retention Period

Contact data (forms): Retained for 3 years from the date of last communication or consent. After this period, data is deleted.

Local storage: the browser may store a cookie preference or technical settings; contact details entered in the audited tools are not retained in local storage.

Access logs and technical data: retained according to provider settings and security needs; periods vary with the type of log.

Cookies

In its current configuration, the GEOTAX website does not set advertising or audience-measurement cookies. Google Analytics 4 is loaded with consent denied by default (Consent Mode v2): no Analytics cookie is written, although cookieless technical signals may be sent to Google to produce aggregated statistics. You can block those requests through your browser or a content blocker.

Only elements strictly necessary for the website's technical operation may be used, in particular when submitting the contact form. You may delete or block any local storage at any time through your browser settings.

User Rights

In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: Obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right of rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured and portable format
  • Right to restrict processing: Request limitation of processing
  • Right to object: Object to the processing of your data

To exercise these rights, contact: [email protected]

International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in the United Arab Emirates and, depending on the provider, in the European Union or the United States. GEOTAX limits the data sent and relies on the contractual mechanisms and safeguards announced by the relevant providers. For a sensitive request, contact the firm for an appropriate channel before sending documents.

Data Security

GEOTAX implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
  • Restricted data access (authentication and access controls)
  • Cybersecurity protocols compliant with international standards

However, no data transmission over the Internet is completely secure. GEOTAX cannot guarantee absolute security.
